Collection of Janmashtami recipes | Gokulashtami recipes | Krishna Jayanthi recipes – Collection of Janmashtami recipes

vrat recipes

Krishna Jayanthi is celebrated widely all over India. It marks the holy day of the birth of Lord Krishna. We do pooja at home and offer prasad (neivedyams) to Lord Krishna.

Usually, we make 5 bhog (prasad) recipes that are a must and are included in Lord Krishna's prasad thali. Apart from that, we make lots of milk-based sweets, millet-based recipes, and no onion-no garlic recipes for Janmashtami.

  • 3 tablespoon ghee
