Mango Salsa Ingredients

Fresh Mango: diced fresh mango for a refreshing taste and flavor.

Red onion: chopped red onion for a sharp and pungent flavor.

Red bell pepper: diced red bell pepper for added sweetness.

Jalapeno pepper: finely chopped jalapeno pepper for a spicy kick. Remove seeds and membrane for a milder flavor.

Cilantro: Fresh chopped cilantro for a refreshing flavor and bright color.

Lime juice: Freshly squeezed lime juice for a burst of tangy flavor.

Pink Himalayan salt: To bring out the flavor of the other ingredients. You can use table salt.

How to make Mango Salsa

Peel and dice the mangoes into small pieces. Using a sharp knife, slice the mango into half, then score the flesh in a cross pattern. Use a spoon to scoop out the mango pieces.

Finely chop the red onion and jalapeno pepper. For a milder salsa, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeno before chopping it. Chop the fresh cilantro leaves.

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced mangoes, chopped red onion, bell pepper, finely chopped jalapeno pepper, and chopped cilantro leaves.

Add the freshly squeezed lime juice and salt to the mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

Taste the mango salsa and adjust the seasoning as needed. You can add more salt or lime juice to suit your taste.

Cover the mango salsa and refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend together.

Serve the mango salsa as a dip with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled fish, chicken, or pork.

Enjoy your homemade mango salsa!
