Storage

Store the leftover banana fry in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness. Reheat in a pan or microwave before serving to restore its delicious flavors.

Tips For Crispy Banana Fry

  1. Choose Raw Bananas: Use raw bananas for a crispy texture and mild sweetness in the dish.
  2. Control Heat: Adjust the quantity of red chili powder according to your spice preference for a milder or spicier banana fry.
  3. Mustard Oil Care: Ensure the mustard oil is heated until smoky and then cooled slightly to remove its raw taste.
  4. Even Cooking: Stir the bananas occasionally while cooking to ensure even coating of spices and uniform doneness.
  5. Freshness Boost: Add a squeeze of lemon or lime juice for an extra burst of freshness and tanginess.
  6. Serve Hot: Banana fry is best enjoyed when served hot, so reheat gently before serving if stored in the refrigerator.
  7. Pairing: Serve as a side dish with roti, paratha, or enjoy it as a snack with a cup of tea.
