  • 1 cup fresh cilantro (dhaniya)
  • Handful of fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • 1 tablespoon roasted peanuts or white sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon sendha namak (rock salt)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or ½ teaspoon amchur
  • ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder (jeera powder)
  • 2-3 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • 2-3 ice cubes
  • water, as needed (for grinding)

Instructions

  1. In a blender add cilantro, mint (optional), green chilies, peanuts/sesame seeds, cumin powder, sendha namak, and lemon juice.
  2. Add yogurt, ice cubes and little water and blend into a smooth paste.
  3. Taste and adjust salt or lemon as needed.
  4. Serve fresh and enjoy!
