A smooth, tangy avocado dip blended with Greek yogurt, fresh lime, cilantro, and jalapeno. Ready in under 5 minutes and perfect as a dip, spread, or sauce.
Pit and peel the avocados. Juice the limes. Roughly chop the garlic and trim the jalapeno, removing seeds for less heat.
Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor - avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, cilantro, mint (if using), garlic, jalapeno, salt, and ice cubes.
Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust - add more lime juice for brightness, more salt to season, or more jalapeno for heat.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, pita, or fresh vegetables. We love this avocado dip with Chicken Enchiladas, or Chicken Quesadilla!
Notes
Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the richest, creamiest texture. Low-fat versions work but the dip will be slightly thinner!
Ice cubes help achieve an ultra-smooth texture and keep the dip a vibrant green color.
Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dip before refrigerating to prevent browning.
Best consumed fresh or within 24 hours.
For a dairy-free version, substitute Greek yogurt with plant-based yogurt or tahini.
