Air Fryer Baby Potatoes are a quick, easy side dish or appetizer! These scrumptious Air Fryer little potatoes are tossed with aromatic Indian spices like turmeric, and red chili powder and air fried until crispy perfection in 15 minutes or less.
Wash and halve the baby potatoes. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved baby potatoes with oil, turmeric powder, coriander powder, crushed red chili flakes, amchur powder, roasted cumin powder, and salt. Toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated with the spices.
Place the seasoned baby potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. This allows the air to circulate evenly for even cooking.
Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Cooking times may vary, so keep an eye on the potatoes. They should be golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Pierce a potato with a fork to check for doneness. The fork should easily go through, indicating that the potatoes are tender on the inside.
Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
(Optional) Serve the air fried baby potatoes with a side of yogurt dip mixed with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro for added flavor.
