Ingredients

  • 1 12-ounce bag of cranberries, fresh
  • 1 bunch of green onions ,roughly chopped
  • 1 bunch of cilantro ,chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper ,seeded (optional) and minced
  • 1 lime ,juiced
  • ¾ cup white sugar or preferred sweetener ,adjust to taste
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • In the food processor, add the cranberries, chopped cilantro, chopped green onions, minced jalapeño pepper, lime juice, white sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  • Pulse the ingredients in the food processor until well combined. Be careful not to over-process; you want to maintain a textured consistency.
  • Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours. Chilling allows the flavors to meld and enhances the overall taste of the dip.
  • Before serving, taste the dip and adjust the seasoning as necessary. Consider adding more sugar for sweetness or adjusting the lime juice for acidity.
  • Enjoy freshly made cranberry dip with crackers, tortilla chips, or as a flavorful topping for grilled meats. It's an excellent choice for appetizers at parties or gatherings.
