In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for batter using water as needed. Gently squeeze the onions to release moisture. Consistency of batter is semi-thick.
Heat oil in a pan/kadai. Add 3 tablespoon of hot oil to the batter and mix well.
Lower the heat to medium, drop spoonful of batter, Fry for 3-4 min. Flip the fritters and fry on the other side for 3-4 min or until light golden brown. Fry the remaining fritters. Enjoy hot crispy fritters / onion pakoras with some hot tea!!
